Hey, I'm Renke, a producer and software developer from Germany. With Cavatus Audio, I bring my two biggest passions together: music and programming.

From guitar to the radio

I started playing guitar at the age of seven and have played in several bands since. At 15, I got hooked on electronic music production. In 2016, my song You With Me made it onto the radio and spent two weeks in the top 30 of the YOU FM charts in Frankfurt.

From the studio to code

In 2017, I went to SAE Institute Frankfurt and earned my diploma in Audio Engineering. A year later, my remix Redlike (Cavatus Remix), released under my artist name Cavatus, passed one million streams on Spotify. That same year, I started studying Computer Science at THM University of Applied Sciences, and my focus shifted from music to technology, especially artificial intelligence. After graduating with a master's degree, I joined a company in Gießen as Head of AI Development.

Back to music

Over the past few years, music pulled me back in. In 2026, I went independent to build audio plugins, and I also teach Deep Learning for Computer Vision at THM. Years of making music taught me which tools I was missing in my own sessions. Audio engineering and software development give me what it takes to build them, with real attention to detail.
